Jeff King and his touchdown

King had a couple nice grabs. No one on this forum is discrediting Steve Smith's touchdown because he was wide open. The players play the game and do their roles. King did his and it resulted in his being wide open for a touchdown.

Congratulations to King and Marshall. They both made notable contributions.

his point was..

Jeff King and his touchdown

looks like he's going to be 10 times more productive in Arizona

King did nothing to show he was 10X more productive.. so on that TD, which is the center of discussion, was simply a blown coverage. extremely blown coverage and shows nothing about King's ability to get a 30+ yard TD.

however, yes, King still knows how to find a spot here and there to catch a pass. Still, 10X more happier we have our current TE's over King.

Marshall aslo gave us new life after the pick was called back.

I try not to hate on ex-players. I liked King; Marshall was okay.

rather thankful he went to Arizona to help us out than somewhere else..

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
