Whatever you do....don't go to that dreadful site that they call the saints report.....full of idiots and they will ban you if you say ANYthing negative about their POS football team. Damn it would suck to pull for that team  They are just a candle in the wind :D

YPA doesn't differentiate between how far the ball travels and how much of it was YAC.

Again though, Drew Brees is very very good, but he also plays in the most QB friendly offense there is. That is a fact.

I think that would be an opinion.

Ours is giving him a run for his money, so is the Patriots, Eagles, Chargers, etc.

I appreciate your hate for him but don't let it blur the lines between opinion and fact.

Where do you get hate from? I just said that he is very very good. I can't make it any more plain that that. I'm telling you though, the guy has been throwing it 40 times a game for years, and yes, a lot of those are short passes. This has nothing to do with my opinion of Drew Brees. He is doing exactly what he's supposed to do and he's doing it very well. That doesn't change the fact that he runs a QB friendly offense.

Sure he does, but first you claimed it was the WCO, then you said it was the friendliest in football, now it's just friendly, all in an effort to discredit him.

The point remains that most QBs make their money with the underneath stuff but it's the ones that can burn you deep that become elite (Rodgers, Manning, Brady, Brees) because they give the defense that much more to worry about.

Let me make this very clear...I like Drew Brees and I think he's a great QB. The only people I'm discrediting, are the Saints fans who claimed that the only reason Cam can put up numbers is because he plays in a QB friendly offense. This is not that complicated.

And for the record, I also think Josh Freeman is a very good QB. The only QB in our division who I believe is a little overrated, is Matt Ryan and he is still pretty darn good. I am not one of those fans who can't admit that the other team has good players.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
