The guaranteed money comes out of the Rams' ass (hehe), so his contract probably isn't too bad for an acquiring team.

Got to give it to Tom Condon. Not only does he know how to sell his clients to the public via the media but he also knows how to screw the teams his clients play on with these ridiculous contracts. Peyton Manning anyone.

Don't see why the Vikings would get rid of Ponder, yet the Jags continue with Blaine. Shouldn't Ponder be given the same chance as Blaine?

Both were reaches, but Ponder is just plain terrible (Blaine to). I don't have NFL network, so I watched the scores for Vikings vs Redskins as they flash on the bottom of the screen during the Panther game. When I saw that the Vikings had the lead late, I said to myself "Webb must be playing". Sure enough, Webb finished the game for the Vikings and scored two touchdowns. Had Ponder play the whole game through, the Vikings would have lost that game for sure, even with Peterson.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.     also why not draft a tackle in the later rounds that we could move to guard or center if they fail, instead of drafting a center? If we draft a center we know they aren’t going to play tackle but if you draft a tackle they could end up playing any of the 3 positions, look at BC for example. It feels like it’s a better decision to draft a tackle in later rounds than a center.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
