Anyone know someone who works for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce??

When I was a real estate broker I used to go to the chamber and collect those "Tourist Brochers". You know, the ones you see in hotel/motels.

Whenever, I had an out of town client, I used to put packages together to send them with these borchures in them.

Cut to the chase, sorry.

I am opening a store here in Charlotte and want to have a supply of any brochures that partain to gold or gems. (IE: Reed Gold Mine, etc.)

My experience with Uptown Charlotte now is it's not handicapped friendly place. Not good parking to park my van, or drop my ramp to get out. Then crossing Trade Street in a wheelchair, you take your life in your hand.

I'll pay postage, just need someone who works for the Chamber to pick them up for me. (Or maybe someone who works in a hotel/motel??)

The other problem is, sometimes the Chamber doesn't like you taking more than one or two. (It depends on the person who is there. I've had several of them just stock me up on them, while others get irritated at me.)

I'll do the calling, I'd rather have a name to whom to speak to.

      While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
