Woman shoots rapist with his own gun!

WRAL is reporting that a woman in NC was being attacked sexually took the gun from her attacker and shot him, police said.

The woman is from Fayetteville and reported the incident happened Wednesday when she was going to a store around 11 p.m.

A man is reported to have approached her in a parking lot and asked her for a ride. She refused and he pulled out a handgun and got into her car. The man forced her to drive to a dead end street, where he raped her at gunpoint. During the assault, she grabbed for the gun, and the two wrestled for it.

The gun fired and hit the man in the leg. The woman was hit in the hand by a bullet but was able run for help. The attacker, Latorie Jerriel Crumpler, 32, was found nearby with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Crumpler was found with a handgun and was charged with first-degree kidnapping, first-degree rape and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

He was being held Thursday in the Cumberland County jail under a $100,000 bond.

Good thing I'm not an officer. I probably would have handed her the gun and told her to make sure that she was the last women he ever raped! Or at the very least, be known as "Stuby" from now one! :D
