Also of note: Because of the shortened season, the Lakers won't travel to every NBA city. The Lake Show won't be gracing Atlanta, Chicago, New Jersey, Charlotte or Indianapolis with their presence. Dwight Howard won't be visiting his potential new home either. The Magic won't be traveling to the Staples Center.

Kind of thought we might get screwed out of a marquee game like this, sucks for us Charlotte fans who wont get a chance to see Kobe this year.

Yeah, back when we had G-Force and Captain Jack. Now our best bets a DJ (yikes) and TT with a potential surprise in Kemba. No way we would beat Lakers at home this year bro.

Not saying we would. I was just stating a fact bruh.

And it's not like we had a better team than LA in the past, it's just one of those things.

It will be interesting to see this crazy schedule, seeing some of those back-to-back-to-back's.

You know we'll be the ones with most back to back to backs. I am guessing we'll see more Monday and Tuesday games.

Weren't we like 2nd or something in back to back games last year.

    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
