Nah, I was responding to you saying how bad we were. I mean a 26 game losing streak from 1976-1977 to having the #1 D in 1979. Pretty crazy to drastically improve that often. Don't worry though, the Bucs already experienced its share of failure just like your Panthers. I mean, aside losing in the Super Bowl. The ultimate defeat.. but yea, even look at the 90s till this point. The Bucs have been in the top 10 defenses for what 15 of the past 16 years?

Also, the Panthers one solid year running... is overshadowed by the #3 team in the South's accomplishments at this point. Your guys accomplishments don't even compare to the Bucs.

hahaaha your team loses 26 games in a row but we expirenced the ultimate defeat by losing ONE game to the team that won 3 super bowls in 4 years? good logic. ummmm you do realize we are in the same division right? sooooo if WE got overshadowed by the Falcons that means you......... ahhh nevermind. yes your defense WAS good, but where has that got you? 2 playoff apperences in the last 6 years. nice. and ya that defense is now done thanks to that team you played on that embarassing monday night loss. i forget what team it was tho

Well yeah, the old saying, offenses put you into the playoffs, but defenses win championships... Nuff said... lol

Yup and the goal of a NFL season is to win a Super Bowl. So, even your offense as good as it is (not as good as the Patriots, Colts or a handful of other offenses)... doesn't matter when you defense allows the other team to score 30 a game.

I'm saying you don't have the personnel to develop it, (old), where we may surprise you and find a way to do it. You have a much more attitude of your defense than you have any right to at this point, you must realize that at this point even though you won't admit it and I wouldn't expect you to...

I'd rather have the longest losing streak in NFL History and a Superbowl ring than no Superbowl ring.

The longest losing streak in history is bad, but the point is that the bucc's have only reached the NFC champ game 3 times in 33 years. yes I too would trade for a bad losing streak and a super bowl win, but dealing with 30 YEARS of suffering besides that? no thanks, we will leave that to to the Bucc's

Tampa has plenty of young talent on defense...

Gaines Adams

Greg White

Angel Crowell

Jermaine Phillips

Barrett Ruud

Aqib Talib

Tanard Jackson

Thats just to name a few... we have plenty of talent to develop a super bowl calibur team. Until the Panthers win a Super Bowl... their efforts are just a failure.

    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
