Madden 2012 and This Board

First of all, in case anybody was wondering I made it home with a rental car and my car is now at a shop in Vegas. Everything is fine except for the 2200 dollar estimate.

Anyway any of yall play Madden online? I'm curious to see if I can find any competition from some fellow Panthers fans.

It was kind of nice having a decent team to play with online this year, minus the run D.

Another thing I want to point out about Madden is the representation of Steve Smith on the game. The guy can go up and get anything in real life and in the game is nothing more than a speed receiver than can break some tackles. Considering his height I believe he should be 99 Jump 99 Catch in Traffic and 99 Spectacular catch. Anyone else get upset trying to throw a deep ball to Smith. He has to have the step on the DB to hit anything deep. He is been this way since I started playing the new Maddens in Madden 08.

Anyways peace out.

    • he used to have nothing good to say about them. put him on the payroll...problem solved.
    • I am also intrigued by Mohammad. Could be another story. Seems like he has the talent but seems to have had some issues with coaching schemes/changes,  some attitude and work ethic issues? Hopefully his being home can get him focused. Here is what I read ( all second hand to me ) :    1- He has all the skills but was nonexistent under two different coaching staffs. He butted heads and was benched under Jimbo (for wearing sleeves under his uniform after the coaching staff told him not to 🙄). Then under the new staff, he rarely saw the field – he had just 55 yards last season. When he saw the field, he either made the most impressive play of the game or would get an unsportsmanlike penalty. Just a bizarre case because he has the talent.     2 -Aggie here to provide some insight. As the other poster mentioned, Moose had a weird time at A&M and it didn't help that Jimbo's offense was painful and wide receivers never seemed to excel. His third year was promising but he was also competing with Evan Stewart, Noah Thomas, and Chase Lane who I'm pretty sure were all 5*s. Also Ainais Smith and Devon achane ran majority of the offense. That said, going into his last year with Jimbo, a couple guys like Lane and Achane left, and most Ags thought this would be the year Moose really steps up. Unfortunately as the other poster mentions, he disappeared into misconduct and coaching change.
    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
