One good thing: Fans can have as many knee jerk reactions, hissy fits and panic attacks as they want to and it generally has no real effect.

On the flip side, coaches who do that wind up on the unemployment line.

Happily, Fox isn't prone to that sort of behavior.

Oh, and the Bears need to bench everybody too. They lost a game.

And the Chiefs should cut their kicker and sign someone off the street.

And the Falcons should start Schaub tomorrow. Vick sucked last game.

And the Raiders should bench their QB (oh wait, they just did).

Gotta tell ya, Nance, I told a Falcon fan last week that I felt sorry for him because of the way people on his board acted. They were absolutely ridiculous after the loss to the Panthers (bench Vick, fire Mora, you name it they had it).

After seeing some of the reactions here, I might owe him an apology.

Thats crap. No ones saying fire our staff. But getting destroyed at home in front of our crowd in week 14 is not acceptable. I thought we were tryna win a Super Bowl here. How can anyone defend today's play after last week's performance?

I can only assume you're pointing this comment at me, so I'll respond...

Have you not seen the threads week in, week out, 'fire Henning', 'Trgo must go', 'Maybe Fox isn't the right coach for the job', 'Bench Jake', 'Start Weinke', 'We need a new kicker' (that one's up here now somewhere), etc, etc???

And who is defending today's performance? It sucked, top to bottom... But ya know what? Momma said there'd be days like this...

She was right...

      I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.

      Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.

      This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
