Still would not consider him a good shooter, especially not something to aim for if I was expecting something similar out of MKG.

We are talking about a top 3 pick, not someone who is a complimentary player. What this team needs is someone that will provide offense on a consistent basis. Someone who you can turn to in the final seconds. Not hating on MKG, just think the better fit lies with Barnes.

I ask again who is the better pro now? Henderson now avg. more points and get more playing time then Ellington. MKG while not being a better shooter does everything else better and will be more help on the floor.

There was a reason why Hendo was drafted ahead of Ellington. As it stands right now, Barnes will still be higher than MKG, and the results with show soon enough. I think Barnes is the better player.

how is it a bad argument.... Marshal is the assist man, zeller and henson are both giant rebound/shot blockers UNC don't even crash boards if they are both in the game.

Well barnes is probably staying at UNC, and MKG will probably be gone after this year since Kentucky is a pro factory, so the argument does not mean much.

Going into the beginning of this month, they were similarly rated by NBA scouts with Barnes having a slight edge because of his scoring ability. Also Barnes averages a higher PER rating then MKG.
