NBC has given pilot orders to Revolution, a dramatic thriller from J.J. Abrams and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke.

CW Orders Dramas from J.J. Abrams, Mark Harmon and 'Vampire Diaries' ProducerDescribed as an epic adventure thriller, the Warner Bros. Television project follows a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.

The project marks Abrams' second pilot order this season, coming just days after the CW ordered Shelter from the Lost creator and One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn. That project is is set at an historic New England summer resort where the new and returning staff attend to the practical, emotional and often comical needs of the guests while navigating friendships, rivalries and romances of their own.

The drama also gives Abrams projects in various stages at all of the broadcast networks except ABC: CBS has given a full-season order to rookie drama Person of Interest; and Fox's Alcatraz has been a solid performer on Mondays. Abrams' last NBC project, CIA drama Undercovers, failed to catch on with viewers last season.

Person of Interest is the best new network show of the season.

Abrams is today, what Irwin Allen was to the 60's & 70's.

It was difficult to tune into TV in the 60's & 70's without seeing an Irwin Allen TV show.

Lost in Space

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

The Time Tunnel

Land of the Giants

Code Red!

Swiss Family Robinson

And about at least a dozen TV movies around the 60's and into the 70's.

Not to mention all the movies he did in the 60's-80's.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

Five weeks in a Baloon

The Lost World

The Posiden Adventure

Beyond the Posiden Adventure

Swarm!

Towering Inferno

Irwin Allen was offen called the "Master of Disaster!" :D

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
