Safest Pick In The Second? - Vinny Curry

Recommended Posts

Every team has a ton of guys with 1st round grades available in the 2ND round.

DE's?!?!?

That is one of the most valued positions in the NFL.

First round grade DE's go in the 1st.

A DE with the measurables and production is gonna go in the 1st every time! Only way ur getting a 1st round DE later is with injury concerns.

says the average weight is between 250 and 290

that's not a real average, it looks like a guesstimate. a true average (adding up totals and dividing) would give you an exact number

and are they counting 3-4 DEs or 3-4 rush backers? are they counting guys at the end of the bench that are terrible and never play?

not very useful TBH

I believe the height is an accurate average but I am almost certain that for the weight they took one of the ligher defensive ends and one of the heavier defensive ends and just expected the individual/reader who asked the question to average the two.

If you want to compare him to the defensive ends on the roster... he is taller than Charles Johnson and Eric Norwood and the same size Antwan Applewhite, Thomas Keiser, and Jyles Tucker. He is also heavier than Norwood, Applewhite, Keiser, and Tucker. Take that for what it's worth but his size really isn't a question so if that's something you are worried about I'd be curious to know why.
