Bobcats in Dwight Howard's Trade Talk.

Recommended Posts

I think Henderson can be what he is for us right now, a fifteen points per game player.

MarShon Brooks was compared to a sane Nick Young which I think is a great comparison; however I see Brooks ceiling being much greater than Youngs.

And Nick Young has been traded like 6x now.

First off, he's not boy. I know how to separate NCAA basketball and NBA basketball.

As far as the Bobcats are concerned, they could use "just a shooter".

Especially with the drafting of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who is projected to be a better Gerald Henderson type of player.

Don't get me wrong, I think Henderson is a good player; but I think he reached his ceiling this year.

No not being a homer. I'm talking basketball. You have a Guy who is a Better athlete and always will be in Hendo. A better defender and has increase his scoring by 5 points every year in the league. His 1st year being a starter he puts up 15.1 points per game.

You call it asinine. I call it having a knowledge of Basketball. All your boy is know for is being a shooter.

Hey my brother. I just wanna ask you a question since you're a Hendo's fan. I saw this dumba$$ wrote an article that Hendo should become an allstar by next year or so. Can you tell me if that's true or false? I just can't get that out of my head that people actually think Hendo is an Allstar potential player bc he's not even close to being as good as a Harden or Evans. Its killing me Foreal. Let me get ur take on it. Thanks bro

I don't think he's even close to his ceiling yet. He can still improve his jumper and 3 point shooting.

I rather have a guy who can do it on both ends not just a shooter.

You can teach shooting you can't teach being the athlete that he is.

I will give you that, Henderson has improved his offensive game each year he has been in the league and his jump shot has become a formidable weapon. I just don't want to insult MarShon Brooks by saying that he can't be a better player than Henderson after only one season of play in the NBA.

You know what I mean?

1st off their not in the same conference as Hendo. There are a lot of good SG in the eastern conference. So no I don't see him making it next year.

But he does have the Potential to be a 1 or 2 year allstar if he can improve getting his own shot and 3 point shooting.

Remember Crash made a allstar game.

I don't think it's a insult to say he will never be the athlete that Hendo is. That's a fact. Hendo can improve at being shooter that Brooks can be. Brooks can't improve at being the athlete that Hendo already is.

Hendo improved each year due to having more min each year. Of course, more min = more points. I dont thinks is call improving though. =)

Do I have to keep teaching you?

Shooting % from 356. 454. to 459. that has nothing to do with more minutes.

3point % went from 196. to 234. nothing to do with more minutes.

No matter how much time you get you have to make the shoots when giving the chance and he is improving every season he has been in the league.

Shooting percentage doesn't come from more minutes but points, rebounds, assists does; which is why your athletic statement is somewhat flawed. I am assuming you are judging Brooks and Henderson athleticism on stats, because as I posted earlier their measurable's and physicals are extremely similar.

The thing that gives Henderson the edge is minutes.

Henderson- 33.3 minutes per game

Brooks- 29.4 minutes per game

Four minutes is quite a bit in an NBA game.
