If Cam Newton yelled 'get off my f***in field'

Cam be a leader, just dont display any authority or power over your teammates, it bruises my ego. LOL.

Some of them must be upset because they can't do the Stomp. I mean really!!

One would think a team who is struggling for some kind of respect from the judges in the media would have way more concern on their hands besides folks whose egos are butt hurt because Cam celebrated when he got a TD and Cam wearing a towel over his head. I wonder what else Cam does that bothers them so much?

Don't see his celebration any more obnoxious than Aaron's silly wrestling moves. I guess some on here would much prefer Cam dance be like Tom Brady's TD dance, or lack there of, when he ran in for a TD on Sunday. Where's the endless threads and media criticism about certain QBs should never dance when they get rushing TDS..Nope...Only Cam, Vick, and I guess eventually RGIII when they are ready to go after him.

All this hating and nitpick over everything Cam does, disguised as "he needs to be a leader," sounds like nothing more than that Alpha Male Syndrome if you ask me.

Its not a coincidence that once Vince Young left the NFL, Cam became the new black QB whipping boy. Last season Vince was in Philly and made his "dream team" comment. The media made sure to ride him and Philly about that all last year. At the same time, they designated Cam as the "likeable" media darling once he came out the gates strong in Week 1, Week 2. Now that he's no longer needed to slight the likes of a Vince Young, he's the one being slighted, and Rg3 is the new media darling "likeable" guy. How many times have you seen people use Rg3 to tell you Cam isnt good this year? Plenty. Guaran-fugin-tee once we get another athletic black QB top 10 this draft or next year, the media vultures are gonna go after rg3. I already see how they are going critique how brash and surly he can be on the field. Nobody's mentioning it now, but all that getting in refs faces about calls, complaining about late hits, and fiery demeanor, combined with the Skins losing, etc will be used against him once its time to compare him to his peers that dont rub people the wrong way .

You are right. But those who criticize Cam do so not so much because they give a rat's behind what he does, but because his success really bothers their egos.

One of the reasons why Jay Cutler have publically vocalized his dislike for our media.

Agreed....generally, I have more respect for someone that just comes out and says "you know, I just don't like that guy"...other than rationalizing and trying to build a case

It's not a black/white thing. It's a won/loss thing.

Tom Brady on Sunday

original.gif

He always looks like he needs an attitude adjustment and NOT ONE OF THOSE FOLKS who sit and fire up the masses against everything Cam does will call out Tom on his damn attitude. Gee, I wonder why?

This is why I really like Jay Culter. He pretty much told those bunch of hypocrits in the media to kiss his white behind. They rationalize it by claiming that Culter thinks he's better than others because he's from Vanderbilt. They get back at him by raking him over the coals at every turn but it's clear Cutler don't give a fug about those fools.

Actually, it's a chosen thing...It's ludacris to put a team on a QB's back. Especially a team as undisciplined as this one is.

It's also partially a black thing because it's easy to spin lies on black players in the NFL simply by pushing the stereotypical view many already have of black players in the NFL. Why do you think the media has done a complete 180 on RGIII and acting like a black QB who is intelligent, is an anormally? They dictate who should be liked and who shouldn't. Plain and simple.

And, if it was all about team winning and losing, why were they not raking Sam Bradford over the coals for his many team losses last season? Instead of faulting Sam, they found fault with every body else while tucking Sam away from any glaring criticism.

Instead of calling folks out on this team who needs to step the fug up and help the team, the media rather make the entire team wins and losses about Cam. And judging by the attitude of many on here, that is quite fine with you. This way you wouldn't have to be pissed at the folks on your team that you REALLY like. It's easier to hate on someone like Cam because he's already made into a whopping boy by the media before you got him.
