my observations...

This gimmicky option-crap offense just isn't going to work. Our weapons personnel-wise don't fit with the things we are trying to do. It is causing all kinds of timing problems that lead to mistakes in blocking schema and closing windows as soon as they are open. This is especially true when the OLine doesn't know what the fug is going on. It is almost college-like at times.

We don't have the basic things down. Things like timing and personnel packages often cause confusion and force mistakes. Our tackling has gotten better on defense, but it is still poor overall.

Most of this falls on the coach's shoulders, and the rest falls on the coordinator. Cam is right, he's running the plays that are called, and they are shitty calls. Our techniques are pathetic.

We need to abandon this season's scheme and incorporate more of what we were doing last year... you know, the stuff that actually worked.

First off, ditch the option (which we're using some form of on 90% of our plays, which is absurd.)

Secondly, not every running play has to be a delayed draw or a draw. Pull some lineman. Get back to some screen passes. Get the ball in our playmakers' hands when they have a chance to do something other than be hit immediately.

I'll stay off the defense's case for now, as they are holding their own when they are often outmatched. With the talent we have on offense, we should be dropping 30 points a game. There is no excuse as to why we can't. Other than poor coaching/coordination.
