You have to start from scratch...new coach, GM and QB. Otherwise there will be infighting about who compromised who when things aren't going well if their tenures overlap. All three starting at ground level will have them connected at the hip and give less room fro the inevitable finger pointing during rough patches. -

Coming from a military family, I always had high structure and positivity growing up. But when my uncles and grandparents start talking about fubar and I saw the look in their eyes, things could get pretty bad. That’s one word that rings true. -

Thielen was speaking highly of Bryce. He said that was one of the reasons he came back here. The fan base is the ones imploding on him. I feel Thielen's opinion probably shifted after seeing how we performed in the preseason, though. These are two completely different situations. People are criticizing without offering their solution. Would you have wanted us to draft a QB high and cast doubt on Bryce before the season opener? It's not as easy as you think to balance all this.
