Should the Bobcats bring back first-year coach Mike Dunlap next season? I don’t know. There are people in the organization who consider him arrogant. He talks so much to his players during the game that it’s as if he gets paid by the word. Minutes are doled out as rewards. A player is in the lineup – Tyrus Thomas, Hakim Warrick – and then he goes to the end of the bench and is so far from the action he might as well be wearing a suit.

There also are people in the organization who consider Dunlap gracious and praise him for the manner in which he deals with employees who can’t possibly help his career. If so, that says something good about a man. But it’s victories we care about, and the Bobcats have won 21 games. They are the first team to win three times as many games as they did the previous season (because players were locked out they played only 66 games last season).

I think we need an upgrade at SG (McLemore)

To be honest, I don't see McLemore as an upgrade.

The only thing that McLemore is better at than Henderson is the three ball. I would take Henderson's defense, athleticism, mid-range game (he has a lethal fader), and post game over McLemore's any day of the week. We all saw how McLemore was exposed in the NCAA Tournament.

The only position that I think that can get upgraded in this draft is center and that is through drafting Nerlens Noel.

Unless we land #1 overall and take Noel (still a risk - and would shadow Biyombo's growth) I would hope they could find someone to trade down with in order to stack future 1sts, knowing we still owe one to Chicago soon.

I'm undecided on Hendo. On the one hand I want him to return because I don't see McLemore necessarily as an upgrade, but on the other hand it comes down to how much Hendo demands as to whether it is realistic we keep him or not. If he doesn't price himself out of a new deal, then I'd rather keep Hendo, but if we land McLemore then so be it.

I'd be happy to have him back at that price, but he should really be a role player on a good team
