I know you didn't say he was better. I could care less about that personally. I know our QB is talented.

What you touched on has been a popular topic about him and something you can read between the lines on.

I'm not saying that's what you did, but there are ignorant people outside and even inside our fanbase who do. I'd rather Cam be himself and not have to put up a front to appease anyone because he doesn't fit their stereotypes.

 

Fair enough.  It was not my intent to start any wars, and I know that some people do feel like you said.  Hopefully between his dad and Rivera calling him out and us winning more we will not have to listen to any more of his bad interviews anyways, bet Mr. Mopeyhead goes away after a few wins.

Either a guy is not taking a loss hard enough, because someone saw him laughing on the sideline (Derek Anderson, ironic when you think about it). Or a guy is taking a loss too hard and people call him a bad teammate (Cam).

It's fuging stupid. I'll take the guy who's pissed the fug off because his team lost. Every day of the week. There's a reason we've only had 4 winning seasons, and it isn't because a guy was pissed about a loss. It's the exact opposite.

That's a very valid point, I really do not want to see Cam cracking jokes in the post game interview either.  I completely forgot about DA, you arre right that I do not want to see that either.

Cam loves to be in the light. Somehow some people knock him for that. He alluded to that himself when he said he wants to be an icon and entertainer and then in his recent interview where he said if you come see him play, he'll put on a show. If there is a reason I am never afraid Cam will fail, it's because the kid is self-driven. He wants to be GOAT and plays like it.

Agreed.  Everything I've ever heard from teammates about Cam is that he's a blast to be around, is very chatty and full of energy.  Most say he fits our particular locker room with the diverse set of personalities we have ranging from the jokester Gross, the chatterbox Dwill, the personality devoid Jstew, the big hearted TD, the Krazed Krakken, etc.

 

Maybe people are coming to this perception that "you don't really know who he is" because he doesn't seem to hang around the team all that much outside of football.  I'm sure he meets up with teammates occasionally, but I know Cam doesn't drink in public so he probably doesn't go out clubbing with Hardy, Chuck and Beast.  If I were to take a guess Cam is probably a bit of a web junkie and a gamer, just judging by his old self-made Ads to get on the Madden cover.
