EJ manuel looks to be in total control of the offense.  Look at how he checks down blah blah,  Look how he keeps the chain moving.. yada yada  Look how this guy looks in preseason.. much better than Cam has in games in his 2 years prior flim flam flarn. If we don't win the game it's gonna be pressure on Cam to do what EJ manuel does.... 

 

You claim to be a Cam supporter but how disrespectful to say Cam should change the way he plays to match up to a rookie in preseason games?   Then you say.. I agree EJ can't hold Cam's jockstrap.. but the bills might have a better personnel and coaching.  I mean really???? Really??? 

On the physical talent stand point no one outdo Cam. The fact still stands, Cam needs to take command of this offense and utilize his check down more.

i dont think he has attempted a pass beyond 10 yards so far this pre season. most of his passes are slants, quick outs and checks to the flat.

I'm talking about through his progression. On that 3rd & 20, there was a guy wide open in between. Could have resulted in better field position for the kicking team. I'm just saying.

The only thing I like from the other QBs (Russell, RG3, Kaepernick, EJ, etc) whom draws comparison to Cam is their attitude. They seem a lot more focus on the game and winning. Not saying that Cam isn't, but he joke and smile too damn much. Smiling after a bad throw to 89 vs. the Eagles that almost turn into an INT. Who does that? Sure, Cam can enjoy playing and a lot of fans have come in defense that Cam is just enjoying the game. Though, the man does it too damn much. There's a stoppage point and he really needs to cut it out now. I'm pretty sure Peyton, Brady and Brees all enjoys having fun too but they knows when to.

But football abilities, I'll take Cam any day.

i have to blame everything on ron.  if you think for a second that we have taken the right steps to make cam better, you carazy.  btw the bills oline is pretty damn good and this past draft of theirs was insanely good.

I know I will get a lot of disagrees, but I dont see Cam ever being elite. He will stay in the Tony Romo/Cutler/Roethlisberger type class. Very good but also very inconsistent. People who think Cam's potential is Brees/Rodgers/Brady are in for a world of disappointment. He will always be a 57%-58% completion rate, 85-90 QB rating type QB.

in between what?Cam had to buy time, escape a collapsing pocket and reset his feet while still looking down field. im not upset he tried to force a pass, to smitty. it is alot easier to miss a 5'9 WR high, compared to someone bigger.

Don't you see how much of a double standard that is?  When he get's pissed it's called sulky.. when he smiles he doesn't care,,, when he is neutral his head is not in the game.   I mean wtf does he have to do?  Smile while yelling in a neutral tone?

I personally don't want Cam to be a Brees/Rodgers/Brady QB.  I want him to be a 100% Cam Newton.  Whatever that ends up being.   Trying to imitate other players is gonna be his downfall if there is one.
