The place before the game you really need to check out is All American Pub, it's right off Bland St.  They have tons of big TV's and good food, it should be a great spot to watch the 1 o'clock games.  Have fun!

If you're coming to All American Pub you better come check out my Cans:Reycled party.  We're in the same building as AAP but we're in the back two spaces (Oak Room and the back room).

Shameless plug - Cans:Recycled is running away with the vote for best place to watch the Panthers in Charlotte.  http://www.accidentaltravelwriter.net/accidental-travel-writer/2013/12/nfl-all-right-carolina-panther-fans-let-the-voting-begin.html

I was just busting your chops.  Cans:Recycled is always open the same hours as AAP though.  We get a pretty solid crowd for the game, too.  Especially now that the bandwagon is getting full and the ticket demand is going up.

Well if you want to walk around Charlotte the Fox and Hound will accomplish that. I remember my first Monday night football game I couldn't get anyone to go so I lone wolfed it. I parked in some random lot on the wrong side of Charlotte and asked the fine waitresses of the Fox and Hound which direction the stadium was in, they laughed at me. I didn't get back to my car until maybe 2am but it was a great time, we beat the Bucs, this is like 2006.

Some people swear by the light rail but I've never had a hard time leaving the game. You just have to park on the edge and not dead center. This is the lot I use, it's a decent little walk but parking is $5 and your near i77. Sure there is some traffic but you just turn on Mick Mixon or WFNZ and soak in the win. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=charlotte&ll=35.232039,-80.848609&spn=0.002479,0.00515&client=firefox-a&hnear=Charlotte,+Mecklenburg,+North+Carolina&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=35.232043,-80.848609&panoid=rnausC-bvtXkWkQIQOht_w&cbp=11,25.17,,0,0

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
    • Start posting in threads in the other forums instead of just creating threads. No one comes over here so you aren't starting conversations.  Get your ass up to 100 posts. It's not that hard. Don't create 100 posts. Contribute to conversations.
    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
