If you have the 8th pick, the 10th and 24th you don't trade them for a slight move up of just a few spots. It have to be for the 1st and a player. This team has too many holes to trade those two lottery picks away.

I was just exaggerating. But, still I'm not even sure that the team holding the no.1 would even consider trading that pick for all three of ours bc this draft is so damn good.

Assuming that we do have the 8th, 10th, and 24th picks, I think the best we can do is package 8th/10th to move up to the 5th spot: Embiid, Exum, Randle, Smart. And, I'd be all over that.

We should still be able to add a legitimate FA that would help fill our needs.

    • 100%. He's a serviceable starter but not a shut down CB by any means. Not too bad for $5.25M /year.
    • Crap on a cracker! I didn't see that from the original video. That's nasty.
    • It is like he just can’t be bothered with that stuff.    But seriously, rebuilding your entire physical operating procedure is so difficult that very few can do it. You have to get it in you so deep that you don’t think about it. Most people fall back to their comfort zone at the biggest moments. Because it worked for them up until ‘now’ and they don’t have to think about it.  You would think people would know this but here we are.  His so obviously wack unorthodox mechanics screamed to me that a rebuild would be necessary and that the single biggest reason I was so opposed to taking him.  It plays out all the time. He is in and out of what Canales tried to train him to do. That’s what the emphasis on 1 2 3 plant throw was about last offseason, as much as it was about getting the ball out quicker. But it is all connected.  You just can’t get the ball out that fast with his old routine, slows you down.
