The end of our annual period of no news is in sight. The Carolina Panthers rookies will report to training camp on July 21, while veterans will report on July 22 2 weeks from monday -

And I don't blame the Panthers for hyping the guy up. It's not like you're going to create hype by putting out the message that your QB is mid at best and you hope the roster and coaching staff can carry him. That's just not how NFL marketing works. When you draft a QB in the 1st round much less #1 overall and much less a massive trade up to #1 overall, you have to be all in on that guy all the way up until you're not. That's just the way it is.
