That's a little naive to state. One definitely needs some type quickness to create space or openings. Pump fakes, spin moves, step backs, etc can only get you so far at this level. Athletic defenders like Leonard, Whiteside, Green, Butler, LBJ, Monroe, Aldridge, Howard, and D.Jordan would smother Frank. Kaminsky has a good handle. That'll translate just fine but he needs to develop some form of agility to compensate for the elite athletes who will be up on his grill. It's one thing to shoot over a 6'3"-6'6" forward or guard, it's another thing when you've got a 6'7"-6'11" forward or center who can move twice as fast you.
Your response is ever so enlightening. Riiiiiight. Jordan never checked out mentally in elimination games and then proclaimed that if the playoffs lead to eventual heartbreak that he wanted nothing to do with it. Whiny, spoiled weak ass *****. That just confirmed to me that without Wade and Bosh, he wouldn't have a single ring.
Lillard has more game winners than Irving by a mile (one game winning shot came in the playoffs). Kyrie is as clutch as LeBron. He puts up big numbers in games but when the game is on the line I'm taking guys like Lillard, Wade, Curry, R. Allen, etc.
Nobody believes that, not even Cav fans. Irving has trouble dribbling in tight spaces and is stiff in mid-flight. He's a solid scorer and decent on the perimeter but if I had to choose between the two, I'd take Lillard in a heartbeat. He's more physical, athletic and clutch. I'd rank Rose higher than Lillard too... 2-3 years ago but Derrick is finished -- a shell of himself. And it's a damn shame.
And yet Lillard is the superior passer, dribbler, rebounder, distributor, and athlete, and is clutch when it matters. His defensive game needs work but there is no considerable gap between them. You'd have to be an idiot to think Lillard isn't a Top 10 PG.
Cleveland is gonna be in a pickle if they can't win a title this year. They can't afford to bring in anybody else for years to come unless they unload Shumpert and Thomas, and nobody wants those Knick rejects for that amount of cash. I guess they're truly relying on LBJ, Love and Irving to deliver. Good luck with that bench, Cav fans.
It's scary to play this game. So many potential dynasties or formidable duos avoided. Portland would have had a monstrous Big Three in Oden, Roy and Aldridge. Shame that only one remains standing and he's now on his way to San Antonio. The Pistons with Wade would have been absolutely devastating. Detroit likely would've won another two rings in my opinion. The legend of Jordan in Houston wouldn't have been. MJ still would have eventually got a ring or two but nothing compared to the six in Chicago. Sometimes the Basketball Gods are too unforgiven and sometimes they're too generous. Do you think MJ cries himself to sleep on his mountain of cash and gorgeous wife every night? I'd like to think he does. Or, at least, has nightmares with Charles Barkley telling him how 'Turrible' he is as an owner.
