Actually N. Korea made no mentions of removing US troops from the peninsula this time. When he mentioned denuclearization, he never suggested that US troops should be withdrawn. It actually seemed like he encouraged them to be there. Weird, I know.
And N Korea actually not wanting to meet with Trump is laughable. Getting to sit down with a US president would be a huge victory to them. They've been trying to gain recognition and respect on the world stage. They would consider that a huge win they could show their people.
I've been following this Korea situation very closely as it could have an affect on me. Kim has been acting more progressive lately. From naming his wife North Koreas "First Lady" or just by letting her represent him at important events. He's the first NK leader to officially recognize SK as it's own entity rather than just a puppet regime. He's done a lot of things differently lately. Some people think his sister is in his ear talking pushing him to make peace as well.
Word also has it that China is worried (also kinda jealous) about this peace with S Korea and the future meeting planned for Kim and Trump. Theres been a disconnect between North Korea and China; and China imposing sanctions for the missle testing didnt help. They're worried about what a peaceful and unified Korea would look like. Especially one that is backed by the United States.
