A max contract for Dirk would have paid him $22.2 million this season. Instead he took $8.3 million from Dallas. That is ridiculous loyalty to his organization. He took a $14 million pay cut. Wow.

He'll probably get that money back with a FO job when he's done.

You're probably right, Cuban is a very forward thinking guy and him and Dirk have been together a long time. But he could have easily demanded more money from the Mavs, and would've gotten it, because they still aren't over the salary cap.

Golden State and Minnesota have RE-OPENED discussions for a potential Kevin Love trade.

The Warriors previous offer was Lee, Barnes, future draft picks, and cash for Love.

No mention if they are ready to add Thompson.

According to sources, Flip Saunders was seen talking to Warriors GM Bob Myers at the Vegas Summer League arena.

Stephen Curry was also quoted as saying that he believe the current Warriors team has championship material.

I hope Marvin Williams is not our best FA pick up.

I dunno.

My expectations for a big leap forward have diminished regardless....but at the end of the day, we're still a 6/7 when looking at the rest of this eastern conference.

He's the reason we weren't the sixth seed in the playoffs.

Fifth actually. Brooklyn tanked to a tie with Washington and we had the tie breaker over both. That game will always sting in my memory. Losing to that team with no Rondo.... Damn.
