why wasnt that a fumble?

I didn't get a clear look at the play at wwork but it looked like an obvious fumble to me.

I noticed the refs took a long time reviewing it what was their excuse?

One of the worst calls this season.

He had posession of the ball and took two steps. Was not even close.

The "football move" rule is gone, since 2007 I think. He just has to have control and maintain possession which it looked like he did.

Oh...my bad. It was a fumble however you look at it.

You sure? I googled this and didn't see that being changed for 2007 or 2008. I believe that rule is still in effect.

No he is right, you have to come down with clear control of the football. No fumble, it was an incomplete pass.

The ruling is that you come down with the ball and make two football moves after that. The receiver was tackled and stripped before he could make two football moves. I understand the ruling...
