Why save picks for a lockout year? How many underclassmen are going to holdout for 2012?

We've cleared a ton of cap room if we get a new coach he'll be able to bring in a lot of his old favorites with our cap room.

I think we are very likely to trade our first or trade down into the 3rd(or do both!). It all depends on the CBA and JR.

This is actually a really good point. I've been whining about not trading our first again, but 2011 is probably going to be a miserable draft.

Value for our 2011 first will probably be even lower than before though.

I'm still not sold on "Bay Bay"...

He's fuging stiff as hell, and played in an offense that benefits WRs...

I'd prefer Tate and Gilyard over him, and this draft is pretty solid from a WR standpoint... Andre Roberts is more of our style guy too...

Yes I know that triple option really focuses on those receivers... Wait what.

I agree. Why save picks for a lockout year? But, you are also not thinking about the other team we would be trading with.. "Why give up this year's pick, for a pick next year that won't be worth anything?".. what team in their right mind would do that?

So like I said before, we won't be trading our 1st round pick this season for the exact reason you just mentioned.. no team will accept good picks for bad picks.

Minnesota WR Eric Decker reportedly had the best Wonderlic score of any player at February's Combine, getting 43-of-50 questions correct.

Decker couldn't run coming off Lisfranc surgery, so he tore up the written test instead. While intelligence won't suddenly make him healthy or a better prospect, he at least managed to capitalize on what he was able to do.

Which is why if we can we should make an offer Marshall and offer our 1st next year. No player in this and most likely next years draft will be what Marshall has already shown he can do. And no player we can get anywhere else could have the impact on our team as him.

A lot of players that go in the 1st round have character concerns and yet they are still drafted there not even knowing if there play even translates to the NFL. I think JR can at least give us one thing to get excited about and I can think of no better.

Think of how much of a nightmare it would be for D coor. to gameplan against us. The best Possession receiver in the league on one side and still one of the best playmaking WR on the other. And the biggest threat of a backfield in the NFL IMO. And Moore to tie it all together. Gives me goosebumps.

I doubt the Bronco's would accept a 1st rounder from the 2011 draft.. there is a chance they could give up Marshall for nothing if they did that.

It wouldn't be nothing. A draft will still be held. If theres a holdout I could see all the underclassman staying in school however so it wouldn't be as deep. The Raiders gave the Pats a 1st from 2011 for Seymour. If they don't get an offer for a 1st this year they might.

Yes I know that triple option really focuses on those receivers... Wait what.

It allows WRs to get open easier, and not have to run crisp routes...

They might be able to get open easier, but they get way way less opportunities than a RB. Bay Bay did an incredible job with amount of opportunities he got..
