Heading to Charlotte this Saturday. What is the best place to get a good deal on Panthers stuff? Looking for a jacket, maybe another jersey -- not sure. I went to the team's online store and everything seems kind of expensive. For insance, they wanted $80 for this one jacket and the same jacket at another store was $20 less -- though I'm trying to save a few bucks on shipping.

Do you guys have like a Dick's Sporting Goods store there with a big selection? I'm sure the prices are about the same everywhere but they have to be their highest at the stadium -- I'd imagine.

All I have is everything Redskins & Ravens. Gets old but it is what it is.

Matthews has one as does the University area. Hell Wal-Mart and Target sell their stuff too.

There is also a Dick's Sporting Goods and a Sports Authority in Pineville. Also, Belk's carries a small selection of clothing, and often advertises them on sale for 25% off. Might be worth checking out.

Lots of sports store in Carolina Place Mall in Pineville as well. As far as number of stores per square mile, Pineville is probably the best bet

Carolina Place Mall in Pineville has 3 or 4 solid sporting goods places.
Concord Mills and SouthPark have Dicks.

But if you are uptown, go to The Plaza. It's across the street from Epicentere and there is an overhead walk way. Tucked away is a mini Belks. One small section of Panthers stuff that is always on sale.

Why complain about prices? Do what you do to represent.

This makes me think you'll be coming down I-85. If so, stop at Concord Mills mall(It's just like Arundel Mills in Hanover), it's right off the highway and has several sporting goods stores with jerseys and such.

When we were at Concord Mills in October the Reebok store had 40% off all of the NFL stuff and they had a good selection of Panthers stuff at the time, a really nice jacket for $50, lots of jerseys.

I drove up to Charlotte for a few hours last week and didn't have time to hit Southpark or Carolina Place. In the University area, the Wal-Mart and Sam's Club had merch, as did Kohl's. Didn't bother to check Dick's. Concord Mills' Reebok store was completely out, but there was a sports memorabilia store that had stuff in stock. The Sports Authority across the street from Concord Mills had all NFL merch at 50% off (got a great deal on sideline polos for $15), but their selection was dropping fast. Target can be hit-or-miss as to whether they'll have team gear or not, depending on your city.

Fan-attics in Carolina Place/Pineville always has lots of Panther gear but I haven't been there since right before Christmas....I'm sure alot of stuff has been picked over by now and if the Panthers win on Saturday you might as well forget about Panther merchandise for awhile. :willy_nilly:
