He's the cause of it, don't you know that?

If it goes up to 4 a gallon again...All's fair in love, war and politics. I'll start blaming him.

The price of oil has a delayed effect on the price of gas because of the refining process. It's about a month.

We're seeing the result of the spike to $52 oil around new years. (I think)

Party artifical. They are trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip right now.
Also, commoditiy traders and really large market makers are sick of laying in treasuries earning oh only 0% so they are going to send cash elsewhere.
This is momentum money.
Which is why I think it's a GOOD thing. I expect the overall stockmarket to spike up soon only to have it's legs cut out from under it again.

Sounds like you're blaming him now.....see title of post and first post in thread.

If you're not, then you're an idiot because of course it's all his fault...even back when it was $4 a gallon.........no wait, that was Clinton's fault.

Not really. I won't really blame him when it's 4.00 a gallon. Market conditions are not DIRECTLY affected by the POTUS...I just have to give back to all the dems that blamed Bush for everything bad that ever happened on the planet.
