Im happy for cam and am excited at the same time. Seeing Cam Newton break an all time record in his first start is simply amazing. But we lost though and thats all i care about really at the end of the day.

lol, now way....

Jake Superbowl

Jake playoffs Bears - probably Jake's best performance

Jake debut

I will add Kerry Collins Min in the postseason (comp 71%, 5 TDs, 41-0 postseason win)

Steve against the Saints has been mentioned.

Cam is probably top 10....but I don't see him cracking the top 5 w/ that.

Kerry Collins was a Giant then, doesn't count in my book

Third, behind Jake's Super Bowl and Jake's first game that was a come from behind win against the Jaguars that led to the Super Bowl run.

This. If we had won, it would be #2.

I'd rank most comeback wins and playoff victories ahead of it.

Statistically speaking it's #1, but considering it was a loss and some of the opportunities he left on the field it's in the top 10, but not at the top for me.

He'll get there though, I have no doubt.

Jake vs. the Vikings in '05 was pretty damn impressive stat-wise too.

I would have to put it 2nd or 3rd. But the signicance of it may put it at #1.

1) Smitty OT catch against the Rams,

2) Jake Delhomme Super Bowl,

3) Cam Newton shatters the record in first game.

The best loss is still worse than the worst win. Unless of course that loss is in the Superbowl. :) This definitely ranks as one of our top losses ever, but below every win we have ever had.

And fwiw, we only scored 21 points. We had a lot of passing yards due between the 20's as well as one long bomb, but I would prefer more than 7 points in the second half.

Did everyone forget that time Weinke stepped in as a backup and threw for a buttload of yards?
