I'm not quite sure why these sports guys are treating Cam as if he's not worthy of being in the NFL and his play last week was an anormoly. It seems all the questions asked to his teammates have such a cynical twinge to them. Like, Cam wasn't the QB who top Andrew Luck last season in college. Why is it that they have automatically painted Luck as the next best QB since Peyton Manning without him even proving himself; yet Cam is some "freak of nature" who is good but isn't good enough for the NFL..

Who the heck are these people and who gave them the job of dictating the future of these athletes according to their personal biases?

"if he beats the packers will you elect him governor? "

what kind of stupid question is that? morons.

I thought that was a reporter trying to get smitty to get rowdy. Smith didn't bite though. You're right that was an idiotic question, even if it was a playful question. Just seemed a bit condescending to me.

remember in training camp where he almost broke his finger on a pass and had to get stiches? I think that is why.

I think it was more likely that he injured his finger because it was taped. Granted the ball hit him in just the right spot, but I think it tore because his fingers were taped together and thus could not move.
