He'd be the best TE, ever. I still say we should go after Usain Bolt.

pretty sure bolt would break in half in the nfl.

also what bolt has got going for him is way more important than a risky stint in the nfl.

Of course you don't see him in the NFL because he'll never go to the NFL. He makes more money in the NBA than anyone besides Peyton Manning makes in the NFL, and he's more marketable and less likely to get injured.

Lebron would be an amazing tight end though.

he might be an amazing tight end, but the thread is called LeBron James: WR for the Panthers? so that's why i said what i said, but like you wrote, he makes more money in the nba than most in the NFL. he's the 2nd guy in Miami yet is also more marketable than Wade.

i see us getting a WR next year, either a free agent or drafting one.

it'd be fuging hilarious if James gave up basketball to come play with Cam...

"Well, I've decided Wade and Bosh aren't enough to win me a championship, but I firmly believe that Cam Newton can carry me to one!"

He's 6'8 and there are several 6'8 and 6'9 players in the NFL. Most are linemen but Leonard Pope is 6'8 as a Tight End

even if he did attempt a run at becoming an NFL professional I doubt he'd be on the Panthers.

Like Tyson said: "Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth"

I want to see LeBron come across the middle and take a huge shot from a MLB before I decide how good he would be in the NFL.

If Lebron brings his talents to the Panthers the horns will sound from on high.
