Be happy in the knowledge that you have carried on the legacy of the hippies that spat on troops returning from Vietnam in order to prove some non existent point.

And I'll bet I know which way they will be voting next year. You know, for the party that 'supports our troops".

Agree or disagree with the politics, the sitting president should not be booed. I felt the same way when people talked poo about Bush, such as what the Dixie Chicks said... Did you CWG?

If only republicans were booed at improper times, then all things would be equal!

Are you new to politics, Mr. Gas?

And that is the issue right there. This country is divided by this retarded ass two-party system. It's not about going for what is good and best for the people of this country, it is about pulling for "your" team. This is why nationalism and claiming democrat or republican is retarded. It lumps everybody into two strict categories. If you are neither, then a lot of people label you an anarchist, a socialist, a communist, etc.

fug being the "opposition." This is everybody's country and it shouldn't be about picking sides. If you boo the sitting president or his wife, you need to be shipped to China.

I would never boo Bush at someplace like this. I would hear him speak, he's the President at a non political function.

Michelle Obama has done a fantastic job working with service members families, just as the President has worked hard for military servicemembers on active duty as well as those returning to civilian life.

And for the record (for the umpteenth time) the only big issue I had with Bush was Iraq because I knew it was nothing but lies and manipulation from the second I heard about it. The Dixie Chicks were on the same tack with that...and we both were correct. They basically ended their careers over something they believed so passionately about and I have no problem with that, although their methods might not have been the ones I would have chosen.

...and as I've said many times, they had the right to express their opinion, but the way in which they did that was disrespectful of the office of the president.
In the same way that these idiots at the NASCAR race did... you don't boo the president (or his wife), it's just stupid. This is the person that represents our country... but some people are too stupid to figure that out.

Why would the smartest man in the world, (according to the huggers), send his wife to a place full of beer and irreverent behaviour on its best day? Think he might have known what would happen? The handlers knew. Fires up the left leaners though doesn't it.

The Divider in Chief strikes again.

There's a lot of beer and irreverent behaivor at some place I go to about 10 times a year and I don't think this would happen there....what's it called....

spitting (i.e. assaulting) on troops = booing the wife of a dipshit president
