E. Staal - J. Staal - Semin

Skinner - Jokinen - Ruutu

Not a bad top six.

If we still had Suttsy, ohhhh :(

I am beyond stoked about this pickup. :D He hasn't been as good past 2 years since his 84pt year so he will be motivated for a long term deal. We should be great, if we suck next year he is MAJOR trade bait at the deadline for picks and prospects (hoping we dont suck). 1 yr deal so if he sucks next year we arent screwed for 5+ years. If he plays great maybe we lock him in long term next year, we will see.

I like this atm:

Skinner - E.Staal - Semin

Jokinen - J.Staal - Tlusty

Dwyer - Ruutu - LaRose

Stewart - Brent - Nodl

Ruutu is more of a center than Jokinen or Skinner. Actually always thought he should stay there. Still would like to add a true center so that the 3rd and 4th line wingers look more strong. But this lineup right here doesn't look that bad. I believe you should always have a solid center on each line since they have more responsibilities.

    • You would think, after years of childish behavior by many politicians that THIS is now the time to start "adulting" in DC. Maybe my gerrymandered district is about to get hit and made more competitive?  Or the demographics show my white, conservative base shrinking over the next decade?  Regardless, this is a great time to start reaching across the aisle to give those independent voters something to think about. Given that Bernie is going to throw out a universal coverage law, this might put a little motivation on the right to do some fixing to Obamacare instead of going full "socialist" with Universal Heathcare (how turrrrribbble!!).  Sometimes, you have to pick your battles, and what we've seen thus far is Trump's battles stink.
    • Based on that article, it seems that a sale will only be made if the buyer agrees to not move the team out of Charlotte. I hope that holds up.
    • You are responsible for you. If you let anyone outside of you determine and control your actions and responses then we have bigger fish to fry. How we respond to crap and adversity is what makes or breaks you.
