Brady even has his own rule, he will be protected for life by the NFL

Multiple rules.

The Brady Rule - Cant hit a QB low.

The Tuck Rule - Made up a rule on the fly so Brady wouldn't be responsible for a game ending fumble.

This idea that the NFL wouldn't fine Brady simply because he is Brady is naive. What exactly would the Nfl have to worry about by fining him? They wouldn't lose fans, money, or viewership.

Holy crap guys, I don't know man. Are you guys being serious?

They haven't fined Brady yet because IT IS A LOT HARDER TO DECIDE IF HIS ACTION WAS INTENTIONAL OR NOT whereas you can easily see that Gore broke a rule (his socks not meeting the requirement). So of course Brady's fine isn't going to come quick.

Well at least they fined him, but I'm still annoyed it wasn't as much as Cam's fine. It was at least as egregious an act and they had the same history of such actions: none.

Well, all those folks who say the Patriots get special treatment from the league office are feeling a little vindicated right now. Or maybe foolish.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the league has fined quarterback Tom Brady for his Tin Man sans oil can slide, which ended with a Ty Cobb cleating of Ravens safety Ed Reed

How hard is it for you guys to understand thta Brady is the NFL's golden boy? They will protect him at all costs

It’s not only that Brady is the Golden Boy, the Patriots are Goodell’s Golden team. Here is an example and a personal thought about this.


First the example: When the Patriots won the AFL champion in 2011,

Goodell was on the stage and stayed there, all smiles, and celebrated with the team.

When the New York Giants won the Superbowl last year he made a couple of comments passed the trophy, and left the back of the stage as fast as he could.


My personal thought is that if what happened to the Saints had happened to the Patriots, Bilichick- would have likely had to serve only a 6 month suspension . Their top Linebacker (ala…Vilma) would have only had to serve something like 6-8 months and a very hefty fine.
