Armanti deserves at least an honorable mention considering we used a 2nd and 3rd round pick for him.

look at the rest of the players from that draft and it is not like we passed up on anyone worth a damn.

Off the top of my head...

- Geno Atkins
- Jimmy Graham
- Kam Chancellor
- Jared Veldheer
- Aaron Hernandez
- Navarro Bowman
- Sean Lee
- Antonio Brown

True to form in this thread, he thing that always takes up a healthy portion of "who's the worst bust" discussions is what everyone's criteria for judging a draft bust actually is.

Not even close.

Carruth was a wasted 1st. Brown, Shelton, and Pickles were a wasted 2nd.

Otah was a wasted 1st, 2nd, and 4th.

although i will give him credit for his one shining moment. when we played the bears after pep left and that delhomme pass got tipped in the air and snatched up by #90, who then walked around with his finger to his lips as the stadium booed, everyone was pissed and wanted revenge, and then on like the very next series kemoateau or somebody got a hand in there and smacked the ball up in the air and everette brown jumped in and caught it for his only career interception. a mirror image of pep's play.

of course then i got on the huddle the next day rejoicing and telling everyone that see here's peps replacement iconically breaking out in the NFL with this ironic highlight play blah blah blah... someone ban me

I really had high hopes for Colbert. He had a good rookie year than faded away. What ever happened to him?

Besides Rae, I would say Rashard Anderson... drafted the kid 23rd overall and got one season with one interception out of him before he was suspended for two seasons for violating the leagues drug policy and then failing to meet the requirements for reinstatement.

We cut him the day after he was reinstated and in 2005 he failed to make the Calgary Stampeders 40 man roster, LOL

Wrong. We traded our second for that 3rd round pick. We didn't have that pick before the trade. We only used one pick on AE. It just turned out that it's value was the 33rd pick
