I ask about the # because I don't think it has across the board support some may think.
Sure a prayer before something is harmless. At a govt meeting funded by tax dollars etc should not comingle.

Same thing with gun legislation etc... Sure it may not pass, but if you really hate the idea of an assault weapons ban and you're in Feinstein's district, you probably shouldn't vote for her

The Republican leadership most likely killed it because it was stupid and made them look even stupider than the rest of the crap they are doing does, but it does not diminish the fact that elected officials here in North Carolina that are supposedly on the side of "defending the Constitution" will abandon it and all it stands for at the drop of a hat.
