I appreciate your vigor, but my reserves of optimism are almost tapped.

Always want a win, but again...conditioned responses.

I've sat through two gut-wrenching losses already this season. They have proven to me that they are the same team. We don't have the balls to win when it matters. If we lose its just icing on the cake for Rivera.

Even if we win I am nowhere near convinced Rivera has what it takes to be a winning coach. He has had so many opportunities and he has CHOKED nearly every time.

When you know your team is heading towards another losing season after only two games, THERE IS NO REASON FOR OPTIMISM.

I'm done fabricating optimistism until I'm given a reason..  there's no reason to think this season is going to be any different.

what do you expect when we are fans of a team that rips your heart out every week?!?

give us something to be positive about and this place will be a lot happier.

We have been out of it early for what...4 straight years?

I am not ready to root and expect a 5th straight pointless season....

I also think this year is more than about RR keeping his job. I think this season ultimately is what determines where Cam plays his next contract.

The huddle was pretty damn cheery in 2008

Newton seems different. I personally think that is gonna get this ball rolling a little earlier than the norm

CRA, you by far the most hypocritical person I have ever (theoretically) met.

what you're ready for and what is likely to happen are 2 different things.. I get no joy out of pretending like this season will be any different.

Meh, I watch football and follow it as a break from "reality". It is suppose to be fun. We are still in a window to be optimistic regardless of what the past says is likely to happen.

One team will be 1-2 at BOA on Sunday.

Newton seems like he is being held back to me. We don't use him as the dynamic players that he is. Managing the game isn't what Cam is about.

I've noticed that we ran the ball a ton against the hawks, but not nearly as often against the bills. that degree of fluctuation tells me Shula is in over his head and doesn't know what the fug he's doing.

"Oh no! they think I'm too conservative! I gotta pass the ball a ton to prove I'm not!"
