Quit being so negative, we're getting a 26 year old with Pro Bowl talent at the exact time that he can be most effective. Let him play himself into shape for a while, then unleash him on tired defenses at the end of the year.

I hope we run the hell out of the ball against the Rams. You guys see what happened when you control the clock? I'd like to see vintage Double Trouble come Sunday... Ted Ginn is going to be wide open somewhere for an easy touchdown

If Tolbert and Williams are having this much success, imagine what kind of performances Stewart will put on. J-Stew is a freak (a combination of both Tolbert and Williams).

I don't think he will ever be 100% again. I saw Steph Curry struggle for 2 years with a bum ankle. However, if he can get back close to what he was though, man it's going to be trouble...

still don't understand how williams is gone next year, but stew should be in on more passing plays as a checkdown and get between 8-13 rushes and the occasional screen plays, i wonder if they would run a hb wheel with him?

I don't think we should be too hasty in making any decisions. Stewart is a good back and can break those leg tackles that Dwill crumbles on.if he's healthy, give him the snaps to see what we can do. This team reminds me of the early 2000's and if we can find a groove between Dwill and Stew I think the offense will be more consistent

stewarts best NFL days are behind him.  Period.  Dwill stays; stewarts contract voided.  Unable to perform clause.

If J-Stew's feet/ankles are fine now, then why would you trade him?  Doesn't make any sense.  Frank Gore was injured early in his career, and now he's one of the more consistent backs in the league.  And, it's not like D-Will hasn't had his injury issues over the years as well.

Some of you kill me, not considering the bigger picture.

And you got your M.D. from where? I mean you obviously have a medical degree, speaking with such surety and all.

Stewart will have a place on this roster.  If Barner had snaps, then there shouldn't be a problem getting 28 in the game.
