You hate to see this happen to such a good player, but the simple fact is this helps us out if it's true.
You guys realize there's 8 more regular season games in which our own QB could get hurt.

Serious question, doesn't clausen thrive in their system?
It's West Coast right?

Serious answer...has Clausen ever "thrived" in any system?

Man, if cutler was magically out for the season we would hop and skip into the playoffs

Its a risk all teams make that focus on having a stud qb and deep at WR. One guy goes down and its all over. A stout defense good running game and a decent back up are essential. That's why teams like SF and Baltimore could make it all the way through the end of the season. I like the way we are built as well. NO is always one play away from losing all hope. I couldnt stand that kind of stress.

Because the Pack and the Bears would be out of the picture.

The Lions upcoming schedule is relatively easy.
The Bears/GB will still be there till the end IMO.
Solution? Let's win the division and make the Saints worry about them.

With a broken collarbone, there's nothing proactive Rodgers can do to expedite his recovery. Only time will dictate how long it will take for the bone to heal. It was estimatated that it would be three weeks before he is back, but there is a good chance it could be longer than that.

I feel like 3 weeks to fix any bone is ridiculous. Month or two at least.
