A WHOLE PIE!

@Panthers: Rivera: "Being the underdog takes the pressure off us and puts some on them. We're at home. We'll show up and play."

Love this quote from Rivera. He's going to have our boys ready to play, folks.

A WHOLE PIE!

I'm not exactly sure why this is, but as a grown man I should be in control of my faculties right now.  I've been through this type of thing before but I just can't control my nerves.  I'm not saying I'm fearful or anything.  It's just the amount of anxiety and electricity I feel has me twitching and shaking like a virgin prom date.  Honestly its a bit emasculating.  I'm a man damnit!  I haven't felt this kind of unbridled anticipation since "The Run" in the playoffs of '03.  I take it as a good omen but it's a bit early in the week for this.

Maybe the defense, but the offense is still a worry.

I have no doubt our defense will come out on fire.

Offensively we need to come out ready to play and not too hyped up.  Get Cam going with some short throws and screens.

Rivera relishes being doubted. He's been pounding the disrespect drum all season and he's damn right too.

What did Steve say? "I feel like a 35 year old woman looking to get married and pregnant"...Every time we make it to the playoffs I want to make the most of it because there are no guarantees in life. Kansas City has not won a playoff game in 23 years....where will we be in 23 years? I'll be in my 50s if I'm still around. I don't know how Jerry does it lol. I'm half joking but I do want to see the Panthers win a Super Bowl before I croak.

Rivera can play the disrespect card again, something I think really works in our favor.

What are we about to see?

The most motivated version of our team possible, rested.

Let it soak in, our beloved Cats gave us a 12-4 regular season, had 14 days to rest and heal and are HUNGRY!  I sense a curb stomping coming out party this Sunday.  Sorry 9ers, your in the way.
