@PFF: Rice will shoot to near top of FA WR rankings. Played well in '12, showed top end talent with elite '09 & only 27. Likely need prove it deal

Wow. I didnt realize he was still that young, feels like he's been in the league forever. I'd definitely do it.

But, retaining Ginn is paramount.

For a very reasonable deal, I wouldn't have a problem with bringing him in.

Yep, he is only two months older than Lafell.

Wow. Yeah, I really want Nicks, but I think Rice may come a little cheaper, all things considered.

Rice, seems like the kind of player DG would go after. 1yr band-aid with some upside that won't break the bank. Rice's best days were with a gunslinger in Farve throwing it up to him IIRC. So, his strengths seems to be conducive to Cam's strengths -> i.e. deep and sometimes high.

rice and nicks will both need prove it deals based on last year and an inconsistent history plagued with injury if they have any hope of striking a decent long term deal with a team.

considering the market they are entering, this would be the smartest thing to do because they sure aren't going to get what they would have a couple years ago.

Rice Nicks Smitty Ginn Benjamin.

My ideal Panthers WR corps next season. Add in Olsen and that would probably make one of the best WR units in the league. Never gonna happen but a guy can dream.

We should be going after Rice and Maclin if they are reasonable.

No. Why sign a guy to spend the entire season on a stationary bike?

Rice, and Nicks? Some of our huddlers are living in a fairy tale.

If we end up keeping Hardy, we'll be lucky to sign Rice, or Nicks, not both.
