#3348821 Oh that Greg Hardy...It Keeps Getting Worse

Posted by setzer2030 on 01 May 2015 - 10:27 PM

Not defending Greg here, but the term "Twin Towers" makes me think of WTC. Personally, I don't think it is a term I'd use to describe two tall WRs in the first place. I'm sure as hell not gonna say "The Twin Towers woooooo!" and then get pissed when someone follows it up with a 9/11 reference.

My cousin in law visited my wife for 5 days from Asia and developed severe crash for me.

I read this in the most Asian voice possible....

#3312730 Root for the Warriors to win the ring, why?

Posted by setzer2030 on 05 April 2015 - 03:49 PM

No I'd give us the same. They should do a complete redraft every five years of the entire league to make every team competitive

You're saying you give us at 33-43 in the east the same chances of winning a championship as a team that has gone 63-13 in the west? They've went 35-2 at home. That squad is very, very tough. It will be difficult to win the title, but they certainly have more than 0% chance to do so. And I can't get down with the redraft idea. You can't punish a team for being too dominant. Teams would never fully develop a chemistry. And have fun telling players they have to pick up and move their families to a different city every 5 years.

I don't value the opinions of anyone that can't spell Kuechly by now.

The Steve Smith vid was funny, the D-Will one was basically a bad sequel, and I didn't even bother watching this one. People think it is necessary to film their kid crying over every roster move in the NFL. How original.

I can make a strong case that 12-4 was more Hurney and Riverboat. 7-9 is what we can expect from a gettleman team. 7-9 should never win you a division title. Never.

12-4 quickly turns to 4-12 long term when giving two running backs $80 million combined. Maybe everyone wouldn't be whining and the team would be able to go grab big name receivers had he not screwed them into the position they're in.

Visit some other threads and you'll see that it took less than 5 hours for the panic to set in.

A guy is visiting. VISITING. This team just won back to back division titles. The negativity on here based on a guy said to be visiting is absolutely hilarious. What a crybaby fanbase.

#3269850 Ted Ginn update

Posted by setzer2030 on 08 March 2015 - 09:55 PM

I guess that depends on your definition of draft class. He was considered a late rounder in the 2014 draft and we got him as soon as the draft ended. I mean, we can get technical if you want to pretend you didn't know what I meant....

I'm just being a smartass, but I seriously cannot define him as a great receiver. He was serviceable. 296 yards and 2 TDs are decent numbers for an undrafted receiver. But Gettis had 500 yards and 3 TDs his rookie season and we all know how he turned out. I don't think it is unfair to not be overly impressed by his numbers.

#3255182 Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland

Gotta love how a 30 year old guy gets the "fug him!" treatment for wanting to close out his career playing for his hometown team surrounded by friends and family. I guarantee the same people crapping on him for choosing family over winning would have no problem with Steph Curry choosing to come home to play for the mediocore Hornets over consistent playoff runs with the Warriors. Family is more important to some than winning.

Pro Football Focus had him ranked as the 74th best tackle out of 78....Or 4th worse, whichever way you want to look at it.
