#3287889 Hardy negotiating with Seattle/Tampa/Dallas

hey guys did you know that the bucs with their four straight losing seasons are the guys who really know how to build a team

I would weep tears of joy if Jerry Richardson and Jerry jones swapped franchises. But to be fair there are probably about 28 other owners who would make weep tears of joy if they switched frsnchises with the big cat.

Kind of ironic how a franchise that preaches building through the draff and through the defensive line have now let both Julius Peppers and Greg Hardy in their primes walk for free.

go look up what irony is in a dictionary first

you may note that i didn't say that jerry richardson was a better owner than jerry jones or the glazers so i'll ignore your straw man bullshit.  the bucs were one pump chumps in 2002 and haven't won a playoff game since.  dallas hasn't won a super bowl since the very beginning of the salary cap era and has won two playoff games since 1996.

your argument was stupid

What do all 3 owners of the teams going after Hardy have in common? They have all won Super Bowls.

you're really going to go there with jerry jones and the glazers

really

no suspension, letter of apology from goodell, one of those chocolate dipped fruit baskets you see advertised on TV coming to greg hardy's front door soon

#3283566 Mike Wallace traded to the Vikings for a 5th round pick

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 13 March 2015 - 11:00 PM

Why didn't we do this. Honestly? He is worth way more than a fifth and would be great alongside KB. Cannot think of a reason we wouldn't do this

uh well he has a $10 million cap figure for starters

you don't get a player for free when you trade a pick

#3283359 Panthers, Call and offer a 5th to vikings for Patterson.

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 13 March 2015 - 08:18 PM

I seriously do not understand the Brenton Bersin hate here. He's a fifth wide receiver. He will not be returning punts. We do not need to trade draft picks for a terrible receiver to replace him.

i think people have just set him aside as a representation of everything they hate about the way the panthers are run

a lot of players at the bottom of depth charts all over the league have the same profile as him.  if a salary wasn't being "wasted" on bersin it'd just be spent on some other marginal nobody to make sure the bench is held to the ground.

greg hardy surrounded someone with weapons and all he got was a paid vacation

#3282644 Raiders in discussions with Greg Hardy

What if no team is willing to sign him and he would want to play here for vet min.? Would DG and JR sack up and sign him?

if that happened i think the jig would be up and that would be all the proof we needed that gettleman is an evil genius

the panthers have done a good overall job defending against power football in recent years and i think we have more than enough athleticism in the LB corps to limit the damage their screen game could do.

i dunno i'm just some armchair dipshit on the internet but i'm not really that scared

#3282468 The reason Cam isn't in a hurry to sign a contract

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 13 March 2015 - 01:12 PM

Still doesn't change the fact it looks like Wilson, Luck  even Tannehill might get new contracts before Cam.

If Cam was drafted in 2010 it would been more understandable since he would already have gotten a big pay day.

the first part is only significant to you because you apparently didn't realize that there was a reason for that

yes if cam was drafted in 2010 under the old CBA as the first overall pick he probably would have gotten record breaking money and it would be a non issue.  in other news if the queen had a dick she'd be the king.

#3282445 The reason Cam isn't in a hurry to sign a contract

Posted by I Mean He Was Found Guilty on 13 March 2015 - 01:01 PM

cam should get 10 mil a year plus a 25 mill sign on.. thats fair

depending on what happens with wilson and the rumors of a fully guaranteed contract i'd be comfortable with cam getting 5 years/$75 million fully guaranteed or something like that.  at least his cap figure will be exactly the same every year that way.
