#2543425 I'll say it again.....Keenan Allen

Posted by beastson on 13 December 2013 - 09:06 PM

I'm sitting here thinking the exact same thing. 9-4!!! I'm trying to figure out do we get a trophy for being 9-4 lol

When you draft twice of the same position especially with no 3rd you're ignoring other weaknesses on the team

#2543098 I'll say it again.....Keenan Allen

fug it Im back

3:00

When Allen ran that route, I KNEW he would be good in the NFL... he was my number 1 pick hands down. He got injured and kinda fell off but I knew he would come back I was surprised he fell to the 3rd, but when we double dipped on DT of all positions and I watched Allen stay on board I couldn't believe it. I remember being one of the only few that hated that we drafted 2 DT's, good picks, but we could have addressed another weakness

#2539970 What Jets fans are saying

Posted by beastson on 10 December 2013 - 02:08 PM

Let's be real

If we put up 14 points early like we should have... 14-0 its a completely different ball game. That was on the road in a dome, it was definitely impressive. Get to that redzone and put points on the board and we should be good with our D. Getting back into that FG conservative mode we seem to fall

#2538861 Why was Olsen our deep threat last night?

Posted by beastson on 09 December 2013 - 07:48 PM

In the past few games we have tested Ginn (Miami) and Lafell (can't recall exactly) as our deep threat and neither connected

Cam and Ginn did connect against Tampa though. Lafell was Tampa too

The scheme is a 4-3 zone blitz.

We haven't blitzed as much this year because we haven't needed to, but even when we do, it's still zone coverage on the back end.

And no, we're not changing defensive schemes with 13 games down in a 16 game season.

I know what the scheme is. Great teams make adjustments and change things around, if not you pay the price. You just witnessed the Saints do what no other team has done against us. So what do you do? Play them again the exact same way and hope that it works this time?

Sitting back in a zone, rushing 4 isn't going to cut it against high powered offenses... especially on the road. You have to play man and you have to bring the blitz at times
