1.) LT - Looking at the upcoming FA pool, we're better off drafting our bookend LT 1st in the draft. Hog Molly.
2.) Shula - Shula must go. We need to get this hire right as well! We had two extremes with Chud and Shula...time to get it right.
3.) Release bums - We need to finally get rid of bums that have been on the team due to being "nice guys". Bell, Bersein, etc. I honestly feel part of this problem is due to JR...so who knows if it'll truly be resolved.
4.) WR - We have some options in free agency (D. Moore, T. Smith, C. Shorts) but we would probably need to draft a WR with a high draft pick as well.
5.) ST - need a new returner and new coach, nuff said
Do you know that Steve Smith has more yds than AJ Green this year? Even Brandon LaFell has more yds than him.
Mohammed Sanu? Sanu? Sanu is a weapon? hahahahaha. Do yourself a favor and check his career stats before you continue.
This notion that Cam does not have weapons is so funny. Mohammed Sanu is a weapon? The only weapon Dalton has had will be AJ Green. Cam has had Shockey, Olsen, Smith and LaFell (who is WAY better than Sanu). So keep telling yourself that Dalton has been better than Cam passing wise because of "weapons"
Had to quote...
Do you really believe...that the Panthers have better offensive potential than the Bengals?!? Cam holding back our offense more than Dalton does his?!?
Using Smith and LaFell stats THIS year to justify them being better than AJ Green, who has been injured, or Sanu, who isn't playing with Tom freaking Brady, is a horrible strategy.
How can ANYONE blame Cam with our O-line, RB, and WR situation?!?
I really hope I'm wrong but take away the names and ask yourself who would you rather have starting at LT.
An undrafted rookie who has only played in Canada or a 4 year starter in the NFL?
Be careful what you wish for. Bell has given up some huge plays and I'm really thankful we have a mobile QB. We have to improve at both tackles spots. There is no question. Despite the popular belief we can't replace Bell with any stranger off the street. The fact that Faucault is getting the start and that we have not brought in any competition Bell should really tell you the status of what's available out there.
The cupboard is completely bare but at least Bell is a jar of peanut butter. Hard to live off of in the long term. Hard to swallow but it's better than the alternative.
