#3138377 GDT: Charlotte @ Cleveland

I really hope we snag Joe Johnson. He is exactly what this team needs. Even if hi contract sucks and he's old he can just sit back and knock down the open jumpers. Something our SG can't do right now

Jesus fire Clifford already. This game is once again in the position it is in because of his stubborn ass.

Cliff is an idiot

#3115955 Why the fug is Vonleh not playing?

Posted by Eazy-E on 02 December 2014 - 04:30 PM

Should he play a huge role right now, no. But if he is healthy he should be getting the 10 to 15 minutes given to Maxiell right now. Jason offers nothing while on the floor. At least Vonleh could use his athleticism to help on the boards.

Are we tanking for Oakafor?

Doesn't matter, if Clifford is still coach he won't play.

#3106794 Where do you stand with Clifford right now?

Posted by Eazy-E on 27 November 2014 - 03:20 PM

Clifford doesn't like young players for some reason. Last year he was only giving MKG 20ish minutes per game. Even with his limited offensive game he is still our best defender. He showed great flashes against Miami in the playoffs.

Now this year when he was healthy he looked to have taken his game to a new level. He looked to be our best player in the floor at some points yet he was being benched in the 4th and didn't even really play the second half of some games.

Biz has proven to be a high energy rim protector and pairs very well with Zeller in the second unit. Clifford for some reason decides to give the minutes to Maxiell who most didn't even expect to make the roster. Now with injuries Biz has shown he deserves the back up center minutes yet Maxiell is still seeing the floor.

This brings me to my last point of our 2 rookies. Why Vonleh doesn't see the court is beyond me. PJ has played but has been because once again Clifford was forced to due to injuries.

There is a major disconnect between the coach and FO. If Clifford wants to play vets why did Cho keep our first round picks. We could have used them to trade for an established player or 2. I rather we lose and get to see what we have in our young prospects. No one right now has any idea what our #1 pick can offer.

I believe Clifford is just a stubborn ass and wants to run things his way. He never seemed to be a fan of the Lance signing, even by saying Lance is still young and benefitted from playing on a good vet team.

Tldr. Clifford doesn't seem like he is on the same page as the front office and he doesn't seem to care. We need a coach who is willing to take chances with our young players and give them a chance to grow and develop together.

Marvin should start at 3 and zeller at 4 while mkg is out.

Jesus guys reading the poo on here lately is ridiculous. We're 12 games in with some injuries. Look at Cleveland. Their fans must be even more irrational and irate. It takes longer than 12 games to build solid chemistry.

People seemed way more rational when we were the Bobcats.

#3093681 Does PFF even watch football?

Posted by Eazy-E on 17 November 2014 - 04:23 PM

Definitely skewed because he IS the entirety of our receiving corps. More balls thrown his way than any other rookie I'm sure. That and I don't think style points factor into anything for PFF, do they?

That said, Kelvin Benjamin is so overrated by this fan base. I think he'll improve next year, but some of his route running has been abysmal, he's been super lazy at times, and has had some awful drops. Mike Evans should be ROTY and not Kelvin Benjamin. I would have him ranked around 6th or 7th in terms of rookie receivers this year, not LOL 34th, but not #1 or even #2 either.

Sorry but Watkins and Benjamin are more deserving. Evans has a pro bowler in Vincent Jackson across from him demanding teams attention every snap. Sammy and Kelvin are in situations where the old #1 option on the team was cut or traded in the offseason. It is asking a lot out of a rookie to come in and be a number 1 receiver. Guys like John Brown, Cooks and Evans are compliments to teams primary targets.
