#2742383 What do you want in 1st?

Posted by The Huddler on 17 April 2014 - 03:07 PM

BPA could also correlate with value. This is my point.

A 1st round OT at 28 vs a 2nd round OT at 50+ = a bigger talent gap.

A 1st round WR at 28 vs a 2nd round WR at 50+ = much less of a talent gap.

Therefore, we should take OT in the first, or else we won't find a stud OT.

I'm under the impression that at the end of the day, gettleman will get us what we need. I could be misled but I have faith that gettleman can find some key contributors during "garbage time" aka. Late rounds UDFA territory.

Many will freak if we don't take WR first two rounds, but I wont

#2739647 With our offense switching to 12 personnel...

Posted by The Huddler on 15 April 2014 - 12:41 AM

I swear we have what we want on offense as far as WR..

I can almost garentee or main focus is to bulk up the line so we can run the ball the way we want. Many will go full fukctard when we don't take a WR in the first 3. Call me an optimist but if we are running a 12 the WR corps we got will do the deed CONSIDERING WHAT WE WANT TO DO OFFENSIVLY. Beef up that OL now and we can take WR next season

#2739646 With our offense switching to 12 personnel...

Honestly, Benjamin made more sense to me a month ago. In the present, as we sit right now not thinking of the future, we have 2 very good security blankets for Cam, (cotch avant) 3 if you could Olsen. I justified Benjamin as a jump ball guys when poo hits the fan and Newton needs to unload. That could still be justified cause we don't have a pure jump ball guy (unless mcnutt comes out). What I know for sure we are lacking is a quick, niftey playmaker with speed. Underwood has speed but he isn't a make you miss kind of guy. ( barner could very well become a good scat back to fill that role, so idk) .

fug it just triple dip at OL so we can stuff the ball down their throat to finish off what our defense started.

End of despirate attempt at distraction, back to studies.

#2739076 John Clayton Weighs in on our talent at Receiver

Posted by The Huddler on 14 April 2014 - 02:57 PM

I think the receivers we have now will actually benifit Cam, you know, cause they can run routes correctly and not drop the ball.

Also have a 2TE set back in the building.

#2738935 Does arm length (OT) really matter?

Posted by The Huddler on 14 April 2014 - 11:51 AM

I know from playing highschool ball that long arms keep the defender from ripping/ grabbing because of the distance put there by long arms.

How the fug do you get in close enough to grab the guys jersey and perform a rip? Also, if you are a DL, you can try and grab the guys numbers, inside position you can control the OL player and try and turn him/ push him into the play. Sometimes making a clog where the RB wants to go if better then making a move and tackling

#2736408 Favorite signing?

Posted by The Huddler on 11 April 2014 - 02:06 PM

Its tough, I feel like a lot of them are smart, high value, low cost signings.

I think DeCoud will be a pro bowler again behind our front. He's still young
