I completely forgot about him. Maybe he can replace Colin Cole in the DT rotation this season.

#2523052 Cam = Comeback Player of the year?

Didn't Bruschi come back from cancer? That's good stuff even if it is bullcrap.

Nope. He had a stroke.

#2522636 who just jumped on the bandwagon

Sorry, Rodney Harrison is not allowed on this bandwagon. Reminds of me of a song Mike Jones (rap artist) use to rap to. "Back then they didn't want me now I'm hot they all on me."

For all the people that says Cam is a one read quarterback, please read this article so that you may be completely owned for blindly spewing out so called "facts" that you hear analysts say on ESPN/NLFN.

Cam and Colin are not the same type of quarterback,

I get a 2 day ban for saying the D word (no not the bag but the male thing) but people can make posts about a division rival on a panthers board and get away with it. This saddens me. (No disrespect to the OP, just had to throw this out there)

You can't say that 4 letter d word that rhymes with Rick?

Enjoy the "victory" on that terrible call.

Bitch, we can say the same exact thing to the Saints against the 49ers. Get the fug out bro.

#2489128 Patriots blow out Panthers

Posted by Darknight on 16 November 2013 - 12:37 AM

Been a fan since day 1, but I'm not drinking the coolaid.

Panthers beat 5 teams with a total record of 12-34.  The only team with a winning record was the 49ers and all the others are well below 500.  The San Fran win was a great win, but let's not get confused.

Rivera sucks and he will show how bad on Monday night in what will be embarrassing.  Sucks that so many people have actually bought into Rivera now that he has won games the Panthers are suppose to win against shitty teams.  Now it looks like we are stuck with this turd.

I would love to see the Panthers win...but I'm not delusional.

#2488272 It's extremely possible, maybe even likely that we lose on Monday

Posted by Darknight on 15 November 2013 - 01:11 PM

You come to Sam Mills Fan for hard truths. Here are some hard truths:

- The Patriots are nearly unbeatable under Belichick late in regular seasons and after bye weeks.

- The Patriots are 7-2. We are 6-3.

- The Panthers are favored, albeit by a razor thin margin on Monday.

- The Panthers are the toast of the NFL media after the win over the Niners on Sunday.

- Panthers fans are suddenly as confident as they've been at least since the 2008 season.

Now, for those of you that have been Panthers fans long enough to remember 1995-2008, does this seem like a recipe for victory on Monday night? I don't think so. I've seen this script a million times before and it nearly always ends in a big defeat. Reminds me of when we went into Chicago in 2005 on a big winning streak around this time of year with a similar record and were being picked as a possible SB favorite and we got beaten pretty badly by the Bears because Jake laid an egg.

If I HAD to pick, I would go with my brain over my heart and pick the Patriots on Monday night. But even if we do lose, I think this team is still very poised to do some damage in the playoffs. And if we win, bucking all prior preconceptions about the Panthers throughout the franchise's entire history? Then you might want to start making plans for New York come February.

I hope I'm wrong!
