#2958685 One small thing that helps Hardy's chances of playing Sunday....

Posted by Jimmy on 16 September 2014 - 06:15 PM

What everyone needs to remember. We can only deactivate him for 3 more games and if we suspend him we can only do that for 4 games per NFL policy. Total of 7 more games. Anything longer will have to come from the league office unless we cut him which we won't do. The NFL has put us in a bad situation. It's not popular right now but I think the court process should be allowed to finish before anything else is done with Hardy. Let him play.

Richard Sherman #28...nice.  Melvin in at #26

And the kicker...Carolina has 2 on the list while the rest of NFCS has a grand total of 2.

TD overlooked again...led the team with 12 tackles (I think that's right) on the day.  It is getting old...actually it is old and it pisses me off.  This guy is unbelievable.  #CircleofHonor #character #beast

How did your daughter's team do yesterday Jimmy?  Hope she played well.

Thanks for asking.

Well, it started off like this: We got there early because she wanted to watch some of the older girls' games. As we were getting ready to sit down one of the coaches from the 7th grade regional travel team, that is part of our program, asked if Hope (my daughter) could play for them today because they only had 5.  They wanted an extra on the bench in case someone got hurt. My daughter is in the 5th grade and at first was adament about not wanting to do it.  She was afraid of playing with "those big girls". My convincing did no good at all.  I told her this was a great opportunity to learn and get better and to give it a try. Nothing.  But then the coaches came over and encouraged her. This team had a special guest assistant coach, Chante Black, and she came over and that did the trick.  Chante is a former Duke All-American and current WNBA player.  She also is a former alumnus of the AAU organization Hope plays for now. Sure enough, a girl got hurt and my baby played the whole 2nd half and even scored 3 points and had 2 blocks...booyah! On that day, she played 2 games with her 5th grade team and 3 with the 7th graders.  It was a good day, even though they lost all of them.  The really cool part was that she was taller than half the 7th graders out there and you wouldn't have been able to pick her out as being the youngest.  She plays the 4 & 5 (Center and PF) on her 5th grade team. All her fears went away and now she is talking about wanting to play "up" al the time.  Not so fast little one, your time will come. Winston-Salem Stealers is the name of her AAU organization.

Pics because it did happen:

Chante (6'5") and Hope (10 years old, 5'4")

#2953589 What did you think of Ealy?

Like someone said earlier, it took 3 years for both CJ and Hardy to develop...the same may be true for Ealy.

#2953454 Undefeated Teams After Week 2

Posted by Jimmy on 14 September 2014 - 09:08 PM

There are 6 undefeated teams after week 2 with the 49ers and Eagles possibly being the 7th and 8th.  If you were to have asked me which 6 teams would've been undefeated after week 2 it would have looked something like this:

1. Carolina Panthers

2. Seattle Seahawks

3. Denver Broncos

4. New Orleans Saints

5. San Fransico 49ers (still possible)

6. Philadelphia Eagles (still possible)

Not the current list undefeated teams:

1. Carolina Panthers (given)

2. Cincinnati Bengals (Figured Baltimore would be here)

3. Buffalo Bills (Wha?)

4. Houston Texans (Double Wha?)

5. Denver Broncos (makes sense)

6. Arizona Cardinals (Seattle???)

I know it's early and the best teams will rise to the top but so far this small sample size has been Bizzaro NFL.
